Tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II

Yesterday we received the incredibly sad news of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

My thoughts, and those of people in Enfield North, are with the royal family at this difficult time.

In Queen Elizabeth II we have not just lost a monarch, but the matriarch of the nation.

Her values of duty and public service united our country and provided comfort to many.

She has been a constant in the lives of most of us, and will always hold a place in the heart of people in the UK, Commonwealth and around the world.

Her legacy of a figure that brought our country together in all times, good or bad, will never be forgotten.

May she rest in peace.
